I have just discovered a cam which shows British Badgers at night.... one of my dreams is to see badgers in the wild but until I manage it, I can watch them on the cam!
WOW Otters! We'd love to see some in the wild.
We have an old Mill & fish pens a few minutes walk away & there are Otters there but as yet we have to see them
The great thing about where we moved to is we're oppositethe local river so theres loads of wildlife, Owls, Duks, Kingfishers, Coots, Moorhens, Chaffinches all varieties of birds
hope to see you all soon, everyone says hi
Will email soon
Love to all xxx
Hey Hey Polly (and Iain - and a special Hi to my fav nephew and niece!)
I have never been lucky enough to see bedgers 'live' but was very happy to see my first ever 'live' otter a few weeks ago, in the Somerset flats whilst visiting my freind in Poole.
I have recently become a volunteer at my local wildlife park (and have the resultant aches and pains to prove it as they gave me a garden fork and set me to work digging out nettles and brambles) OUCH!
The upside was that I saw quite a few birds and learned more about the 3 Bat species which inhabit the park.
hiya Tabs 'lil sis here, thanx for the Badger info, Iain & I were both lucky enough to see Badgers in the wild on different occasions, they are lovely creatures & it's a shame there are not many around.
Love to everyone
Thanks Tabs 20.30 yours must be 22.30 ours ...a good time to watch !!!!!
And yea!!! I 'm seeing it now !!!! at 22.30 Greek time or 20.30 English time
The cam operates from 20.30 BST - The badgers were already snuffling around their sett when the cam opened and they remained outside their sett for about 45 minutes. I am sure that they will be back during the night but maybe only for those on American continent to see?
Tabs what time did you see them before...???????? May they will come tomorrow at same time... It's too late for me now...Good night
Thanks Tabs ...I opened it ...and waiting for badgers to come...
