i think it might be possible that it was seen recently, i think i saw the injured ear on it, and at the time was being told to go away and/or chased by another hyena.
Each time that we saw this injured one i got the impression that she was driven away by her other hyena family and was trying to join with those in this area.
I had seen this on several documentaries..as one is chased from the group for some reason or other..
If i can find the recent pic of it..i will post it here..but at this time i am hopping around between 3 diff computers. Just my/your luck it is probably on the one that is being repaired?? But i will try...

this is just my assumption, but I think that hyaena recovered. During the time that it would regularly stop by a few months ago, it seemed to be getting better and better..But I myself haven't noticed any of the hyaenas lately with any serious injuries looking injuries, so who knows?
