Great pics Wild Dreamer

Your Great Blue Heron looks very much like the Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) we find in Africa, but I note that it's distrubution does not extend to North America, but is found throughout Africa, Europe and Asia.

Terrific photos of the Great Blue Heron and Reddish Egret. In southern Ontario we get Great Egrets. They nest across the area now, which is a northward movement of their range. Theyve only started to nest up here within the last about 5 years.

VEry nice Dreamer! I'm sure it wasn't your photo's that crashed the thread; it just happens like that sometimes.

The Egret we see in the park here are the ones with the yellow legs, Cattle? Snowy? The Great White has shown up once that I have seen in twenty or more years.

What is the redishEgret? Is it a Heron?
