I even saw it once during the day, with cam zoomed on the lodge...all I can tell is...its a white dog...I'm sure its in an enclosure ! Is that really a dog at the lodge barking? Who would leave a dog outside??__________________

Guess the dog's out on the deck area. I hope he's chained, leashed, kenneled or it will be 'O mon dieu' if he gets loose in a herd of wildies on this Gnu Day.

I saw it following a person on the deck...would suggest belongs to the lodge...which tourist would bring a dog on safari ?!__________________

I would have to guess someone's pet since we've never heard it before. Wonder if he will be welcome next time...barking would keep me awake. __________________

In some places they have a numerical solution for dogs that yap all night long, and for humans who leave them out to do so!!!

We've seen dogs before, Florian...but, I think that was when a daytime party was going on at the lodge...local people, I assume. Might have been the day of the wedding.
