This is a terrific book that'll give you a real interest in and affection for baboons. The author is a field researcher and she managed to study wild baboon troupes close up but without disturbing them. She's writing for the general public here; she's funny, she's caring, and she knows what she's talking about. The info and the personalities are fascinating - you'll never look at a baboon in the same way again, I promise!
