Hello Africammers,

I am sitting in Tau's computer room. The new camera is installed and appears to work fine, including all the pan, tilt and zoom functions. I have to do some more hacking to get the images transferred to Africam but thought you'd all like to know it should be up tomorrow.

Bribes are currently being accepted for remote control of the camera :]

I have taken photos of the process and will post the day's events as a story with pics when I get back home.

There are better Ciders than Strongbow, but if that is your preference, Strongbow it will be..... How many cases would take to bribe you?

Actually, I'm more of a cider fan. Bring me some Strongbow when you next come to visit and the camera controls can be yours permanently

They're very nice. I wish I could send them at full resolution (double the size of what you see here) but then the bandwidth cap at Tau would be gobbled up in a matter of days.
