Hippopotamus

I am not real bright but I wonder why are there Hippos at this watering hole? Hippos are in water most of the time. I can't locate another water source on Goggle earth. Where are they coming from and why would they leave one to come there?

Magdalene, Here's a GE shot locating at least three other waterholes around Nkorho. The one to the east is quite large, and all three are much larger than Nkorho.

Not too long ago, a Hippo arrived at night and fell asleep in the water hole. You could tell that the poor thing was trying to get low enough in the water to be unseen, but, the water wasn't sufficiently deep for hiding. No matter. He (she?) just fell asleep there anyway.

There are dams that are big enough for hippos a few kilometers to the East and West. So the hippos could have come from there.
When out foraging at night it is not unusual that hippos are found several kilometers from the dam/river they live in.
