Luckily found another pic of the mystery bird on the previous page. Different lighting.....but not as clear. Looks a little closer to the Wood Sandpiper in this pic.
Cilla, I believe that is the same hyena I have on video recorded about the same time.
Answer to Sungura on last page: According to my Audubon Society book, it looks like a Ruffs Plover in nonbreeding plumage, but I'm sure someone else will have another opinion.
