Monday night

So, as the sun sets in the western sky,
And the fading light is reflected on the waterhole,
We recall the wonderful sightings of the day.

We regret the injury to the beautiful zebra,
But are thankful for the bounty of nature,
And the skillful zoomies who bring it to us.

Most of all, we are grateful that the ellie
Didn’t pick the Marula tree to knock down!
