TODAY IS EARTH DAY..22 April, Discover Planet Earth

Today is EARTH DAY..
The Discovery channel is running 8 or 9 different shows of the beautifully filmed 'PLANET EARTH" series all day long and repeating some of them into Monday, 23rd , in wee hours of the morning, Eastern Daylight Time/USA. Most fantastic filming i have ever seen. I hope the rest of the world is able to view these shows also

Happy Earth Day ! I am unable to get out and about today, but I do have my windows open and it sounds wonderful ! I have lots of nesting birds close by it seems. I hear babies chirping, and the Blue Birds and Mockingbirds flying about scolding everyone LOL.

I really wish I could enjoy this series but for me, Sigourney Weaver is just ruining it with her over-emoting doom and gloom. As well as the script. It reads like a sad soap opera when really what we are seeing is the natural cycle of life, breeding, hunting, dying.
