Only 24 here but feels hotter , the smoke is trying to cover the sun but he keeps peeping though. Was at the little lake sitting in the shade when I noticed one of the large stalks of grass swaying and jiggling it went on for some minutes then a largish brown form slipped down he bank into the water. Must have been Mr or Mrs water rat getting bedding for the long (or short) winter.
