Following up on my posting in the Nkorho cam forum about bandwidth use and the high cost of this in SA I was wondering if it would be doable to have both a streaming and a 'convential' camera stream (e.g 15 second frame updates.)

This would allow slow speed users to see the cam n the one hand and save bandwidth for us poor sods in SA on the other. We could monitor the low-bandwidth 'conventional' cam and switch to the streaming one at times there is an interesting sighting (or when we long for the sounds of the bush...)

I would like to hear from the technical people on the feasibility of such an option and from other capped users whether they would indeed like an use such an option

I have passed your suggestion on to the 'Bosses' - and they, or I, will let you know what the response is!
