Hello everybody

I am so happy I now can post on this forum. I registered earlier, but as they say, because of technical difficulties, I was unable to.

I live in Québec city since 1988. Previous to that I lived in New Brunswick where I was born, it is another province of Canada.
I am still working full time as a civil servant, but I plan to retire in the next couple of years.

I have several interests. I've been doing a bit of genealogy since about 25 years, with low and peak periods. I love nature, I like driving and or walking in the forest, specially now with the fall colours. I've had a computer the first time in 1983, a Commodore 64, I had great fun with it for about 5 years until I could no longer find printer ribbons for my Vic printer I have been working with a PC now since 1987, at which time I decided to buy my own. I love the internet and spend much time on it.

Of course live streaming cameras have taken a lot of my time since last May. It was first with an Bald Eagle nest on Hornby Island in British Columbia, then another at Saanich part of Sydney in Victoria (yes another one ) where we witnessed the raising of two beautiful eaglets, namely Victoria and Sydney. Of course they have now fledged and went to greener pastures up north to feed on the Sockeye salmon, the camera is now off. There is also another Bald Eagle nest in the state on Maine, USA, the camera is now turned on year round. Again this morning the parents visited the nest and are tidying up, rebuilding and redecorating.

I have been lurking here since Sept. 16th and registered as a member. It was through the Wavelit TV channel that I discovered Africam and Boma.
