Do lions ever make an appearance at this particular watering hole? Wouldn't it be lovely to see that!

All pics posted here should be a maximum size of 640x480 please - otherwise people who do not have a Broadband connection will have trouble downloading them. If you can make them a tad smaller (439x 318 pixels or less, as an example) that would be even more helpful! Thanks __________________

Cerinthe, I was at the lodge watching the cam. A herd of Wildebeest camped in front of the lodge and two cheetahs stalked and chased them. They tried to catch a Wildebeest calf right in front of us, but missed it. They tried again a few minutes later, and we heard some funny noises, but could not find any trace of a kill that night or the next morning. The one Cheetah appeared briefly on the cam but with the incredible speed it was running, the cam was way too slow to follow it. __________________

I saw lions this past weekend very close to the pan. One about 200 meters east of the pan and the other one, an old female killed a baby zebra about 300 meters north east of the pan. Will post a picture soon.
Mufassa, we saw lights of landys Saturday night on cam, were you in one of them and we fleetingly saw what might have been a big cat? Do you know anything more about it?__________________

Those are great pics Mufassa - do you use a Canon - digital or film? Is that a > 300mm lens? Outstanding color and sharpness. Thanks for sharing.
