It was 7.30 am when I came in ....After the rain (thanks to Aline and Ingwe I know it was raining earlier) all are quiet at Nkorho Pan...

Two geese was in the pond...but soon somethng happened and they left shouting......at 8.00 am I saw an emerland-spotted wood dove...but not a good close up...I can hear a turrrrrr turrrrr.....and I am wondering if it's the sound of a some kind of dove (It reminds me of our's Streptopelia turtur)

Also I think I heard something like a woodpecker's sound..who knows ???

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. Only hope you can check back to see my answer.

I saw an owl sitting beside the waterhole. I am positive it was an owl as it had the appropriate body shape, and the head swiveled in such a way as only an owl can do. It also had the two "horns" as a Great Horned Owl would have. I only wish we could have been shown closer but the cam was obviously not manned at that time of night.

Hello everyone. I posted earlier during the night that I thought there was a storm going on - hmmmmm not so sure now. This morning I could hear the same sort of noise which during the night sounded like thunder - anyone know if it actually was stormy last night!!!!?

Hi Fani!
I'm watching the baboon babies as well. Aren't they sweet - and so human like, LOL!
