Thanks for the response cameraman - I only asked because this site is similar to the KNP message board (I think its called a PHP board or something? lol) where they do have a spell check feature and I assumed that this would be a feature that you could also add.

In general, my spelling is pretty good but I do get confused at times..... put it down to my advanced years, too much amarula and not enough trips to SA to clear my mind!

I'm not sure if that's possible. When you type in a post, you're just filling in a very basic text form displayed in plain old HTML. All the colours and tags and things are added afterwards by the server. To implement a spell-check would need quite a bit of intelligence on the browser side which we don't have right now.

I will check but I think it's unlikely. One thing you can do (which I do a lot) is use a favourite editor or word processor with spell checking for *all* your writing and then paste the finished prose into the form and then add tags if required.

I like that idea Tabs. I'd be lost without it for email.
