Greetings from the cold north

About time to introduce myself; My name is June, and I'm a 23 year old norwegian girl. I noticed there is a danish girl here, så hei til deg, and hello everyone else Laughing out loud

Obsessed with all kinds of animals, but for the moment I'm looking for a house to buy with my boyfriend, so my only pet is my little tiger (12 year old housecat). - Oh, and a whole bunch of rex rabbits that we breed and show Laughing out loud

Looking forward to follow the webcam, hopefully there'll be more action there today Smiling

Hi June
I see you have already met a lot of the friendly residents on this awesome site.

When I was much younger and lived back in South Africa, I use to catch snakes keep them for a few days and then release them back into the wild, until one day I bought home a puff adder (a really venomous snake) My mom flipped out and that was the end of my snake catching days,
Which I suppose is a good thing as who know I might have ended up being bitten by a deadly snake and become no more.

Well I’m sure you will love this site.

How hansom Laughing out loud And what an original name, when we rescued the iguana, he was Iggy too Laughing out loud But everyone thought he was a female, so we renamed him GoZilla (Gozy). Turns out he was a male after all, but sadly he was neglected when he was little so he was underdevoloped. I have a picture of my boy too:

Who knows, this country is turning into a "Father knows best" state  Reptiles has been banned since the early 80's, and most of the excuses is lame ones like salmonella and "they don't belong in the norwegian fauna". Like any exotic reptile would servive the cold winters Laughing out loud

Hi! Ahh, I'm so jealous of you, I used to have an Iguana myself. Sadly all kinds of reptiles are forbidden in this country, so he now lives in a safe home at a reptile park Smiling

He even has a site  www.myspace.com/iguanaiggy Laughing out loud
