LOL, I mis-wrote ..i should have said 'SA is the only time that viewers around the world have in common...)if we all lived in the GMT time zone..i'd agree. all our lives revolve around our own time zones...

Pics on cams use SA time ie...CAT or SAST. Haven't you ever noticed that? You don't really want us to change to using GMT instead of cam time..do you? South Africa's cam time has worked so well all these years.

This forum uses SA time..(and when we see a sighting..we refer to CAT/SA time, do we not..?) on ones profile one can adjust the time to each of our own time zones..gives us a better reference as to when/how long ago a posted sighting or alert was seen..or how long ago it was seen.

Katja just posted the time of the civet sighting and so did i. we both used South Africa cam time as a reference.

PS: tabs, do you know why the pages on Forum got so much wider today.? does anyone else have their text strung out across a really wide line across the forum page.? maybe it's only me?
also, i didn't mean to jump the gun on the Headings for the 17th..but i thought i had a great civet pic to post......yikes! change it if you wish..

Love your albatross, Tom. Is that also called a goony bird or is that different? Aren't they rather inept on the ground, or landing or something?

Something is approaching, but it looks like it just kept on going...thought it might be a reedbuck, not sure.

Something else is drinking right now..it's too dark to tell what it is...maybe I'm imagining things..now it just looks like the dark edge of the shore...it's very wavy, which is why I thought it was something. Sorry !

Did anybody get a snapshot of that just walked by? I got one but it's not clear on what it was. It looked like a fox. Not sure though. Would love to see anybody else's picture!

Did anyone see that bird ...fishing? Going around and around and skimming the water I think. We know there is fish now because we saw the cattle egret catching them, right?
