Hi everyone. I have only been viewing the Nkorho Pan Cam for a few days now, but I have clearly enjoyed all that I have watched. I find that this cam is a great way to learn more about animals and the habitats that they live in. Anyway, I have been having some problems with the camera.
1. After I've went to africam.com, clicked "Nkorho Stream," and the page has opened I can see the video and hear the audio. However, after a few seconds(aproximately 30-60sec.), the video freezes and the audio stops, and the "message bar" located underneath the actual video, in the middle, on the "cam player," reads "Preparing Media..." After a while, it may say "Reconnecting" or "Media Inactive." And the only way for me to view the cam is to close the "cam page," go to africam.com, and then restart the whole process. NOTE: The Cam has worked before on my computer, and I've seen it work at school many times. Is there anything I can do to make sure that the Nkorho Stream runs as smoothly as possible? Also, here are my specifications:
Computer: Dell Dimension 3000(PC), Intel Celeron, 768MB Ram, 128MB Graphics Card(ATI RADEON 9250).
OS: Windows XP Home Edition
Internet: My computer is connected to the internet using a Lynksys Wireless B Router and directly connected to my computer to recieve the network is a Lynksys Wireless USB Adapter(B also). I have Bellsouth Hi-Speed DSL internet that runs through the wireless network, and my USB adapter picks up the signal and that's how I get internet.
Any Ideas? I am fully willing to download a program or something to get the Stream to run at it's best possible.
Thanks to All!
