Hey hello everybody I am new to this site a friend told me about it yesterday and since then I have been transfixed - last night I saw a Rhino at the waterhole I can't believe how excited I was when the animal appeared on screen - I tried to take a photo but was having trouble with that snap thing - I still haven't got to grips with it yet. But for me this is the best thing since sliced bread I have never been on safari but so want too and this for the time being is the closest I'm going to get - I'm already hooked.

Thanks to you all - unfortunately haven't been able to view the cam all afternoon - telling me media not available - does this mean the cam is down or have worked barred me
Welcome, from another junk
Hi Mr. Scroobs, enjoy the cam!!
Welcome to AfriCam!
It's hard to say when is the best time to watch, animals really keep coming and going...
morning and late afternoons (SA time) are often active, at night you will be sure to see hyaena and as far as I remember, all of our rhino sightings on cam have been at night.
happy camming ! this is a very addictive site
Hey thanks - this is fantastic - you have already made me feel at home - I am hooked - when is the best time to see the wildlife or is there no given time - seeing a Rhino last night at midnight was strange, I thought they'd be long tucked and cosied up for the night by then.
Hi Mr.Scroobs, enjoy your stay, many happy sightings to you!!!! Glad to have you aboard!!!
