  I tested my new camera a few days ago and came across this red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris).

Nikon D80 with a Nikon AF VR 18-200 mm lens. The squirrel was very far away - my guess is about 20 metres. The squirrel is quite small on the original photo which has a very high resolution: 3872 x 2592 pixels. To create the above photo I cut out the middle part of the original.
