Hi everybody,I am brand new to these fantastic streaming cam pics and sounds from Nkohro and Elephant plains, it is fascinating viewing and obviously a big thanks go to all who participate in the ops and running of the sight, it is great fun trying to identify each different sound, one question is what is the sound that is quite regular and prominent on both sites is the sound that is very reminiscent of fighter aircraft, is it the wind or vehicles or what? thanks again for a great site, will post again soon.

At the moment there is a tractor or something riding aroud their I do prefer the buffles though.

Africam is great.

This morning for the fisrt time I saw life at Elephant plains some buffles in and round the pool.

Great to see this.

Hi again, thanks Bob, I must say the sounds at this moment in time (21.45 gmt) at both sites are absolutely superb I love the crickets and Cicadas? takes me back to my time in the rainforests of Borneo the only thing that is missing from the site is the smell, well technology is moving so fast now who knows what is possible.

Hi Ray, and all our sound guy Nevil from Brodan Systems has been there today to resolve some of these issues especially sound volume and wind noise - any comments does it sound better at Nkorho.

Hi Ray and welcome to the board.  I believe what you are hearing is the sound of the wind.  It is around a lot of the time.
