The Cooper's Hawk is common in the area. The Wood Peewee is a common migrant. The Nuthatch is common, too.

I have been busy with a lot of things recently - but high winds kept me at home this weekend, so I loaded a few pictures onto Africam - and added another post in the photography forum. I did not want to go out shooting in 50-60 mph winds.

I also spent a lot of time yesterday listening to Lucky Dube videos on YouTube and CDs. It was devastating news. Really painful.

Hey Limpopo, great to see you again and such beautiful pics. How far were you from the Cooper's hawk? Just see how well one can see the eye.

Fantastic pic of the nuthatch, Smiling

Barry, how common are merlins in your garden?

Limpopo, how common are the birds you shot for you?
