I can't believe this is happening again. Every time I think I've finally gotten my viewing problems handled, something new comes along.
I started by watching on Windows Media Player, then suddenly it became impossible. I managed to get it going again on Quicktime, then site or camera changes made it impossible. So, with help, I was able to switch back to Windows Media Player. Until last week, when suddenly I get this message: "The request is not valid in the current state."
Of course, throughout it all, I have never been able to watch online. I tried again today, just for the heck of it, and all I get is a blue screen.
Why can't they leave things alone? I love Africam, but I'm getting tired of wasting time trying to get it going, only to lose it again in a week or so.
For whatever it's worth, I'm on mac osx3.9 (panther), Firefox 2.0.0.14. Quicktime 7.4.1, latest version of Windows Media Player available for Panther, and I have installed Flip4Mac.
I would really appreciate any help I can get, otherwise, I guess I'll just have to abandon hope and switch to the NatGeo live cam. If so, I will definitely miss my Africam.

Both cams are currently up and working ok for me anyway. You didn't say what your new error was so don't know what that could be. Something else you might check is your internet download speed. You don't show your location but for the US anyway a good speed test site is speedtest.net as you do need to be getting broadband type speeds for the cams video to work too.
