Year round? that would be really cool. I thought I read on the site they had extended it till Dec 31st.

Looks like they are still working it out...found a post from Afke on 12/28 with link below:

We are doing our best to make it all happen. As I said earlier, we cannot guarantee anything yet, but I know that we will go on in January. Both NGS and Mashatu are working hard on it and seem to be confident that we will be able to go on after that. NGS will post any news about that on the forum as soon as it is available.

I only heard it that one time it was a roar then the saw sound, sounded like it was traveling on through no lapping but it was very close to the mic. I know it was leopard, boy did my heart race but the camera was on autopilot.

What is that snapping sound, could be a thunk, click, depends on how you want to describe it it just does a constant timed tapping then stops.

I'm sure going to miss this place.

KeeKee...last I heard, the cam was not shutting down...going to stay up all year.

I didn't KeeKee, but then I have more than PP up on audio on. Have you heard it again?

Debby, they are equally as breathtaking! Here is the piling that Afke was getting with the moths surrounding it.

You're welcome Auntie Lyn and Calista. This is the only cam that seems to capture the sunsets and they are breathtaking.

Here are a couple that are from Oct...before I learned how to post...lol...but I just love them. Hope you enjoy if you haven't seen them already.
