Oh LOL, so it really was the ellies backside that popped up next....I did see a few of those earlier when they exited the pond area. It was really busy earlier with all of the comings and goings of the ellies. Love nights like this. __________________

 Yep! Poor Afke's never going to get any sleep! Lion roars and ellie trumpets are my favorite bush sounds - crickets and frogs - my least favorite, LOL

That poor baby with the short trunk. For an elephant, that's like losing both of your hands. That little one will probably be dependant on her herd for all her life. I'm at work and the internet here is being very flaky today, so I'm relying on all your screen caps for my PP fix. Thanks to the pic-snappers here! __________________
