Can someone tell me why the pond is sunshinie when it is only around 4AM in South Africa?  That is what is showing on my cam right now.  I know that the pond is in southcentral Africa & Nkoro is just northeast of Botswana,,but is there that much of a time change?  Please tell me.

Thanks

It is in a loop ( a pre-recorded day).  Something must be wrong with cam.  I coudln't see the animals earlier.  It was like the lights weren't working.

Pansy, they must be having some cam difficulties. This is a taped image that comes on when that happens. Notice the time to the right of the expiring time. When you see that, you know it's taped. Normally you just see the time connected slip by. Hope this helps Smiling

OK....I know we're in a loop but I am enjoying watching the eland right now.  Anyone know why they rub their heads into the mud like that?  Have seen others do that.

Glad to see the cam back up. I hope the lights are working tonight, guess we'll find out in a little while when it gets dark.

This female seems to be streaming from her temple glands. I read that such streaming often accompanies intense emotion. I wonder what's up with her.

It's back up (for now anyway).  Looks pretty windy there.  Maybe they will get some rain soon.

The skies were looking rather ominous during the Djuma PM drive. It would be wonderful if it were to rain overnight!

I would love to see a good rain.  I'm sure the plants, animals and people would too!
