I don't know blueeyedibra....The only I know is that she had broken her leg ...I don't know when...but somehow she managed to follow her herd ...and to find a way to walk...There are reports of seeing her at cams last year too ...

You have to remember that this cam is run by volunteers.  Afke who is the cam operator at PP this season has to sleep sometimes.. She is usually up on the cam by 6 am CAT...Today she's on cam and its only 5 am CAT... she runs it from then til she goes to bed around 9 to 10 pm.. sometilmes she puts it on auto pan during the day when nothing is happening so she can do other work in the hide.  At night it is always on autpan...  But if you are looking for elephants you will see them soon.. There are always elephants around.. Right now the limpopo river near the pond is low on water so they have been coming to the pond in droves... herds of 75 elephants at times.   The Mashatu reserve has over 500 elephants that basically stay in the area.. so you are definetly going to see them.. keep watching..  Along with lots of other animals.. last night we saw an african wild cat just after dark. Laughing out loud

The trees look very Halloween-ish

During the day there is someone there zooming in on the animals.  There have been large herds of elephants there for the last few days.
