The seeds are already spreading here - I was at a local Nature Reserve on Saturday and the air was thick with dandelion seeds.

We call the seed heads 'Dandelion Clocks' as you are supposed to be able to tell the time of day by how many puffs of your breath it takes until the seeds have all gone!

Dandelion leaves are very good in a salad.  A few years ago I had promised a mixed salad to my family for lunch, but forgot to buy lettuce - so I went into the garden and picked a few dandelion leaves and threw them in. My family enjoyed the salad, only commenting that the 'lettuce' had an unusual taste!
