Practice Thread - Try out new things here!

Hello bomites,

This thread is for everyone to practice posting pics, removing quotes etc., - anything you aren't sure of, go ahead and try it out here.

*Edited to add rules for posting pics*

When posting images, they should not exceed 480 x 385 pixels, and the sum of file sizes of all images in one post may not exceed 240 KB" No more than 4 images should be posted in any single message, to make it easier for other cammers to view them and to give others a chance to post images. Any message which contains more than 4 images will be deleted.

If  you  have  problems  Please  post   them  in  Boma chat , it  is most viewed by the  moderators  and  the  best chance for fix.

just to let you know it also doesn't work in IE 8 it seems that there is something that isn't compatable with IE and the current rich text program they use.  They are aware of the problem but not able to find a fix for it so far apparently.   It does work ok in ff I know.

I'm still working on the IE 9 compatibility problem. I find that I can reply, edit and quote with Google Chrome, but still do not have the composing tools... I have not installed FireFox

Hello pjsims - if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see "comment viewing options" - underneath that you will see where you have the choice of newest or oldest first.  Hope that helps.

for the time being to be able to use the rich text menu I would use Firefox browser as it seems to be working fine with that browser.

I think it was a problem that developed with IE when they upgraded the forum software.  They are aware of it and have been trying to figure a way to fix it along with several other problems that the upgrade seemed to cause :(   Hope they can get things sorted soon.
