Here we go:

I cannot understand why this Board : Africam.com is not willing to accept that any other wildlife cams are allowed.

At the "other webcams" and chatting on it,  there never is a problem if i mention Nkorho ore Africam.

Ive been in chat at xxx this morning several hours, and i was chatting there also when the Cheetah kill was on NK. It was no problem at all that i told it in there chatroom and told all to go to Africam (Cheetah eating from a kill)

A few of the viewers did indeed go to see the Cheetah eat! .. so new users!!!

On this way ahead Africam is gooing,  and tries to ignore all the other webcams and is not trying to get  new users is not helping at all to get and keep users!

New Users only arrive because they find this webcam on the internet and see a special.., ore they were told bye someone that this is a special side with many really great seeings.

Most new users only see a waterpool were nothing happens at all for hours and hours.

and i tell them all the time -> GO THERE ! GO TO AFRICAM.COM

I ended my chat at xxx telling them all that it was gooing to be my first and most beloved Wild webcam.

Africam.com

and Nobody there told me this name was not allowed because it was "Competing"

I see that, but I think we should also understand the lodges, africam etc. because f.e. the lodges maintain the cams... But in a way, you are right... Smiling

I don't want to mix the soup but do not understand why it would be wrong to talk of issues in  their right names! To be open minded, democratic and still nice and polite make good to everyone. Not talking behind the corner...we all here are big friends of nature what ever cam we are looking at!

I don't think that this is a big problem, because I think it's hard enough for Africam as a free service to earn money. If you want to tell someone about a "competing" cam, you can still do it for example via Email.

We are always looking at our policies we have in place, especially with regard to what is happening in the market.

To give u some background on this issue:-

Initially Africam in fact had seperate threads on the forum for other cams. This was terminated when it became apparant one of those sites banned the use of Africam on their site, which we believe has now been relaxed.

We are presently attempting to clarify what these changes are and will respond accordingly

I agree it does seem quite silly Iceage.  This all changed shortly after I started on the forum and I totally missed what happened and why.  I imagine there was a reason at the time, but I wouldn't mind hearing what it is.
