Hi all, I seem to have a similar problem to Seabrooks had in September, I cannot see all of the chat page, the right hand side is cut off at about 6 words, I have followed the advice given to them but it makes no difference to me, can anyone help, I am using mozilla with windows XP (i think), if anyone is able to help me I will be really grateful, thanks hey

Hi Tourneyman, thanks for replying to my problem..again. It is only on the chat pages, like Nkoro Pan chat or Ep Chat, the regular forum threads seem to be OK. Janirry sent me a link which I followed and the problem went, but as soon as I logged off and came back again the same thing happened, the only way I found to sort it myself was to get into the chat via the Ustream site, it's not a major train smash as I can go that route but it would just be nice to get it sorted. I tried refreshing to clear the cache, resizing the page, there were a few other things but can't remember them all now. I will have a look and post back. Another thing I was wondering, on your name it says you are a moderator and africlub, what are these things, I couldn't find a suitable place in the forum to ask so didn't.

  Hi Kastym, Is this problem on all the pages in the forum? Does your window show a scroll bar at the bottom that you can move to the right to see the right side? I don't know which post by seabrooks you are refering to so can't check what was done or the problem then. I am also using xp and firefox (mozilla). There is a known problem with some blogs that the right side gets cut off with some of the themes but I have no problems with the regular forum threads. There are occational formating issues that cause one page to appear incorrectly which we can usually fix if we know where the page is. It is also possible that the download of the page didn't load right and by clearing your cache by closing down the pc and restarting may correct the problem. Let us know if the problem persists and if so will try other things. __________________

sorry kastym, I misunderstood. I don't usually use the ustream chat feature as it stresses my old pc too much it seems with all the other things I have running too lol. As for moderator we are volunteers that help out with africam as for testing stuff, keeping things updated, answering questions or trying to handle problems and other behind the scenes things. As for Africlub ...here is an answer I gave quite a while back that seems to still hold true although the time of start is longer ago...The Africlub icon indicates the person is a member of Africlub. People became a member from their contributions to Africam. It was started almost a year and a half ago as a place to be more in the know of what is going on with Africam and to brainstorm suggested improvements in Africlub forum threads. Unfortunately participation dwindled and I don't know if that is currently even still in effect other then prior members having the icon on our IDs. I hope this helps answer your questions.
