RIP, Hamish

You were my best friend for ten years. You left so early, but what a life you had, and you were very well loved.

So, so sorry, Meaghan.  I share your grief having been there too many times myself.  Hugs and hope you find comfort in the memories of your beloved friend.

I know what you feel, Meaghan!  I went through this painful period many times in my life. Each pet is unique and a "personnality", they stay in our heart as long as we live!  Who knows, maybe they are waiting for us somewhere?

OH Meaghan I am so sorry.

It's been 3 years since I lost my companion of 10 years and I still miss her...

BUT, when I dream of her as I do sometimes, it is always a happy dream and so real...like a reunion with a beloved old friend.

So I'm wishing you & Hamish many happy reunions in the future.

God bless.

And maybe he could tell Katy 'hi' for me when he gets to Heaven.

Aw, I just saw this.  I hope you are healing well after a bit of time.  Our pets are a vital part of our family.  To lose them is never easy.  To know we gave them love and trust throughout their short lives is knowing they had a good life.

I know all to well your loss.  We lost our dog in June and then my cat of 15 years two weeks ago.  I am grateful that we gave them comfort and a good home while they were here.   

Your tribute is lovely.
