Amber (Marge Lathrop) who has been our good friend for a long time on AfriCam and in person, has passed on peacefully yesterday.
There might still be some AfriCammers who remember her well.
It used to be a tradition here to light a kandle for our friends who passed on. Amber and her family are in my prayers and a candle will be burning in her memory.

Hi All,
This is Andy (Marge/Amber's brother). I just wanted to make sure that I thanked all of you for thoughts and condolences on the passing of my sister. It is truly a fantastic thing to see the outpouring of friendship from all of her online friends. We as a family really appreciated all of the wonderful comments. She will be missed by us as well as a multitude of other people.
For those who don't know it we will be burying her in Arlington, Virginia at the Arlington National Cemetery with her husband George on June 9th.
Take care all of you and Thanks again for everything (especially the friendships that you had with Marge while she was living)
