The Male was a Gentleman ...he waited patiently for her to drink and they left together ..He wasn't thirsty ..

Now I'm impressed

The jackal left and the female started to drink ...the red billed oxpecker is into her ear

Black backed jackal passed through ...leaving some markings

I think she is a female ...but now we have another one a male

there is a giraffe at the waterhole ...and waits for jacques to zoom on it LOL ...

As none posted something at this thread all day ...I 'll try to write my impessions of the pics thread ..to help Barry to make a summary at the end of the day

First was rhinos at nk ...what else ..they invated the waterhole all night yesterday ...The elephant did another appearance at the small hours of the day ..

Early in the morning one rhino was there too with impala ...I wonder how many individual rhinos we have seen yesterday evening and during the last night at nk !!! Must be several

At ep we had impala, warthogs, a lonely ellie

At nk vervet monkey, a Tringa that looks more a wood sandpiper , Cape turtle doves ...I can't make out the 'red ' one ...maybe a laughing dove, egyptian geese, some kudu cows and two kudu bulls

I was totally surprised to see close ups of wartie at EP ...I  think it is the first time I saw zooming on them ...LOL ...I thought they had something against them ...

Just before 15.15 two kudu bulls came at ep too ..for a short visit ...and left without anyone zooming on them ...

Now 15.23 the catfish at nk ...jumped out of the water .. Obviously he is more active the last days ...
