 Thanks Tman, that explains the pointy face. The body did not fit the springhare that well. I guess I'm too eager to see new animals __________________

 Hi Cerinthe, we were discussing that in the waterhole chat and Aquila thought it was probably slender mongoose and looking at the picture in the database one of the shots it does look like the mongoose has the black tip tail also so think that is what it was. Good night all. edit to add: as to possiblity of being springhare, I googled what a springhare looks like and the hare has larger ears which the mongoose didn't have much for ears at all from looking at the pics. __________________

On EP at about 8:06 a springhare was seen or maybe it was something else. If anybody has a different idea about what it was, please post it here.
