Strange beeping sound at NK with a black screen. Possibly battery problem?  Or power failing?

At NK: Something small and low to the ground just krept around the back of the water hole and may still be in the grass back there.  Too small to be any Hyena or big cat and at that distance I don't think I would have spotted a Mongoose walking.  It was a small dark blob.
