Hi all, Callie... I wish it was, but Josh had replied to your Question about the BB Jackal Pup in the log quite a few days ago when you posted it in the Questions and Answers Thread. It has also been posted in the Chat and Discussion threads a couple of times. JOSH SHARED... that they zoomed in on the log plus he also went down to the waterhole personally and looked at the log. Josh said... there IS NO type of animal at all in the log, it is just the odd shape of the wood inside that looks like the form of a small animal curled up in there. I agree it looks like the shape of a pup type of animal, but I have seen it extremely close up in pictures and have taken many pictures when Zoomie went as close as possible to it also, but it is only the shape of the inside of the log and no animal at all. __________________

NK That little wildebeest is looking like a proper little mini gnu now instead of a brown calf. How quickly they grow up.

Quite a lovely bucolic scene right now. Warthogs nibbling grass with one jackal hanging around them. Two impalas also eating and one lying in the grass. The other jackal just came and sat down right in front of the impala. Very peaceable. |
11:32 PM NK Hyaena whooping now.
