Crowned Lapwing I think.
7:18 am NK CAT
Zebras Impalas, and Wildebeests. One zebra was rolling a minute ago. What is that big box to the left? Anyone know>
Good morning all.
Sabine it is short and straight beak, so a common sand piper
is more like it. But I am so out of practise with these waders LOL
Edit: Did some research and looking at the white patern at the "shoulder" yes it is a Common Sandpiper to me
Swift, do you think the wader was a comon sandpiper and not a greenshank?
Oh - I should go and sleep - that was a three banded plover in my pic I was still thinking of ducks
Here's another picture of the little bird.
What an action but a slow computer
That Common Greenshank I have my doubts about, no "curly" beak and shorter.
The little bird, no idea. In the pic with the plover it has a shadow at the tail, its tail is shorter
I have no idea. I almost missed it, is it too big for a sparrow? - there was also a three banded plover that I didn't get a pic of...
Wasn't that fantastic?? All those birds Thanks zoomie!
This is the little bird
