Welcome to the forums.  Sorry for the disappointment of the cam going down right when we were getting a good sighting of the elephant at the NK waterhole.  Hopefully they will be able to get the cams back up soon and more critters will show up.

hello this is all new for me i have been watching for awhile and decided to join. I was warching the waterhole and for the first time ever I got to see an elephant so close to the camara and then the camara stopped and i was so excited and let down all in one

knew it was too good to be true lol.. zoomie must have tripped over the cam cords for both cams and the forum lol.  At least the forum is back but slow still,now waiting on the return of the cams.

Yes it is :)  They are thristy and spending good amount of time there.  Guess the zoomie went to answer the call of the drums so we aren't getting a good shot of it.

Hi theva.  Sorry to say but it seems that most of the chat about the sightings seem to happen at the daily waterhole chat thread and off topic chat at the daily campfire chat threads.  I have problem with buffering at EP too.  I did catch the Elephant there a while ago and wildebeast at Nk right after that.  Don't know what sounds you might be hearing I just hear the moter running there mostly.

Am I the only one using this thread to discuss sightings? I am not complaining, just trying to figure out if I should move too.

I have a bit of a problem keeping up in the Waterholechat, by the time I have managed to find the right words in English, the discussion has usually moved on to another subject, LOL. But I will adapt!

Anyway, I heard something at EP that I thought might be a cat... It's buffering a lot so I could be wrong.

LOL at owl (scops?) that must be sitting on or right next to microphone. Cute, but a little loud... It did a little soundcheck before it started though, so I had time to turn the sound down a little, LOL

ETA: I'm hearing several sounds that I don't recognize tonight, wonder what they are?
