I came across this news recently, and was wondering how many of you had heard of it.

They talk about erecting an electric fence, but recent history in Bostwana makes one think this might not be the best idea. They erected a fence in 1995 to contain a virus, but it wan't the best way to contain it. Granted, this current situation just has to deal with destroying crops, but here are ways that fences were erected that limited the effect on wildlife:

i belive thier is a 5 foot high electic fence around the nkorho lodge
to keep the elephants away
