Streaming video capture software

There is another program I recently heard about but have not tried that has a free version for recording video and audio.  It is called BB flashback express (free version). You can get info and download it from here

Have tried it out a few times and it worked fine.

I use the program Audacity to record sound and also use it to edit my sounds. I can mix sounds with it too, great tool if you want to get creative with sounds. Click on the link in my signature where I ask to ID the sounds for me and you can see what it is like. It only captures the sound on my laptop, not the room, but it will capture all the sound on the laptop, meaning if I play a game that sound will be included in the recording.

Very fine program.

I dislike Debut, it records the sounds of the room and the sound of the cam sounds lousy. Maybe I have to change some settings to record the sound of the cam only, but have not spend that much time with it.

If you are looking for a simple and easy to use audio only recorder that can be set to pick up the sound you hear from your speakers (set to use stereo mix) I use the program "audio recorder for free"  unique name lol.  You can find it here hope that helps.  The edit kit that comes with it is trial version but the recorder is free.  There are several here that might know as for video with audio but I am not familiar with those programs.
