Cam Updates

If you notice that the status is not correct you can reply to this to bring it to a moderators attention. If you are not able to view the cam but it is apparently up check this topic for possible solutions.
Flash Media Conversion of Elephant Plains

You may have noticed some recent changes with the Elephant Plains streaming camera. Africam is in the process of converting its live streams to the Flash Video Format. This conversion is going to open up a whole new world of options for our members one of which will be the ability to upload your own africam highlights. If you are unable to see the stream you may not have Flash installed on your machine. You can install it by clicking the following link:

I can see the video but the view is distorted
Submitted by Africam on Mon, 05/02/2007 - 12:28am.We have been experiencing a number of compatibility issues with the stream as there are so many different versions of media players, browsers, operating systems not everyone gets the same view. If this is the case please post a screen shot of your view with the following details so we can try and resolve these problems:
PC or Mac
Operating system (Example: Windows 98, XP, Vista)
Internet Browser (example: Internet explorer, Mozilla firefox)
Media Player (example: Windows media player version 11)

problem loading cams
Submitted by tyto on Fri, 16/12/2011 - 3:47am.Hi, can anyone help, I am based in france and although for the last few months have had no problems viewing the cams, i now can't get them to load, not even the africams classics. I have been able to watch the recent footage of the lion buffalo kill.
I have tried clearing all my browsing history and tried useing a second browser. Does anyone have any other solutions?

What's Going On with PPO Cam
