What is the best streaming video cam to use for video and picture capture.  My cam is so touchy, I have to keep resetting it after I take a pic or video, and that causes me to loose some great shots.  Any advice?  Also, how do you capture on the refresh cams?  Thanks.

Linda, Katja gave you the link to the site where Aquila and I both have put information on how we capture and save the video. Personally, I use BSR to capture, windows movie maker to edit/save/compress, and youTube or my photobucket to upload for sharing. Please check out this thread, and maybe we can get some others to share what they are using. Here is the link again. How to record and save videos from this cam

There are many programs out there, free and shareware that will get the job done for you. I like and purchased my copy of BSR, easy to use, great help from the developer Bulent himself if there are problems, and I can also snap pictures if I want to while recording. I tell it what I want to capture, and go from there. Feel free to PM me or any others that you see are recording successfully, and they will help you out.

Are you watching the cams using the links under 'Streaming Cams' in the menu on the left? Occasionally the feeds is choppy but most of the time it works fine.

To capture pictures of the live stream I use MWSnap. I don't capture video, so I can't help with that. But I think some Boma members use Screen Virtuoso to capture video.

Hello. Can someone tell me what kind of cam is best for taking pics and video capture. I'm using Fraps and it's really choppy. Thanks.
