thanks for the info pingu. yes they are slow to get up but they can move fairly fast when they want to. __________________

I have by wikipedia look,i see the Elephants sleeps in stand! There are only for the deep sleep and also only in the flock This would take much too long until you get up because they were a godsend for lions

was very nice visit by the breeding herd of elephants. Several little ones in it. I think elephants do sleep standing up but really not sure. __________________
