Hi everyone.

I'm here for my quick before work cam watching.  3 out of 4 cams with critters on right now.  Baboons at NK, Cape Buffalo at EP and Side-striped Skinks at TE.  Great way to start my day.  Smiling

Managed to 6am with my allnighter viewing 15 different groups of animals over the 4 cams, with 3 of the animals I hadn't seen yet since joining Smiling all in all a pretty successful morning, now woken up again for more camping!

Black eagle Refresh Cam.

Copy -  Eagle cam from Blackwater Refuge:

01/22/13:

Choptank Electric is finishing up their work in running electricity to our cam equipment (they had a delay with the heavy rain). Next, our electrician needs to inspect and approve the work, then we'll get our software up and running to get the cam feed online. It's possible the eagles might have an egg on the nest, but it would take about five weeks for it to hatch.

Good morning everyone!  A beautiful full moon is riding high in our west at this time, 4:35a.m.  Full moon occurred at 11:38 EST on Saturday.  One of its names is Full Wolf Moon...

sorry was busy posting pics on the pics thread and doing some other things .. yes they were side striped jackals at NK this morning you can tell they are side striped instead of black backed jackals by the white tip on the tail.  at EP this morning there was a male impala and also later when the gecko kept getting in the way a male bushbuck.  My key for those are the white spots on the rear flanks.
