Yes, those Imps have been there for a long time, on high alert! They'll have to find a nice shady spot to sleep away the day!
The Boma chit-chat forum Thursday 8 March 2012
I have friends like that. One would call me and not have anything to say. I finally quit trying to fill the conversation gaps and also said nothing. She stopped calling . Now we e-mail or text. Great view of the imps at NK.
That's okay, Donna. I've been on the phone for the past half hour with a friend, whom I love dearly, but she's a talker!
Hello Sue! Sorry, sometimes I'm showing online but doing other "stuff" and not checking the forum . I heard impala alarms at TE awhile ago. The clear skies and almost full moon (tomorrow) really light up the area. Gucks are also vocalizing at TE.
Hyaena drinking, 5 hyaenas there, and what sounded like a distress call of some sort . . . or a weird ellie call!
I was about to say there probably aren't any lions around NK, as the Imps are relaxed, laying down. But, as I began to type, a hyaena called very loudly and the imps are standing up, on alert!
Good evening, Donna! (and any lurkers out there!)
leopard sawing heard at EP but not seen nor close enough yet I guess but not too far away it seems so hope high that we might get a leoaprd sighting but I have to leave in about 20 min so hope it gets here soon..
Hi Hanneke and thank you for making the new day threads. Have a good nights sleep. I hope the new day brings us lots more great sights and sounds at the waterholes. Good camming all.
