hearing the moans of something off in the distance.  Maybe cape buff or wildie?  deep long moan sounds.  then heard jackals closer by at NK.  Sure would like to find out what that bird is that is so close at NK.

Thanks Hanneke. T-Man I recorded that sound a couple of weeks ago and Gerda sent it to some birders for ID, but haven't heard anything. We were guessing some kind of owl.

Hi Morris and Noblos.

I also heard a moaning noise - could have been a hyaena,  and also something that could have been vervets.  I have quite a bit of distortion on my sound.

That hiccuping sounds like a bird sneezing and hitting his beak on the cam every time.  lol.
