Was that him making that noise? I've never heard a noise like that.

Is that baboon putting out the alarm call at EP?  That is what made me look lol.

Lol me to Tourneyman, I was busy mopping my floors and heard that ear piercing noise.  Ran back to my comptuer just in time to see lion at EP.

Tman,  I think it is a baboon alarming.  That is what brought me to the puter :)    HI everyone :)

I walked in just in time to see it!  So exciting!

It was a much milder day today, got up to at least 24 F  which felt like a tropical heat wave!!!   Had my oil changed today and they told me my antifreeze is good for -35 F  the thought made me shudder  LOL

I haven't gotten through all I missed yet but main question I have is... morning parades lion moved off and all our critters survived its long visit?  Didn't see anything in the pics thread from after I had left of it.  But it sure was exciting to see there.

Hi Morris !  thanks for the clip.  I missed it while getting the Africam Experience set up LOL. 

In looking at the video clip, I am surprised that the lion was there drinking for 30 seconds before the baboon started alarming.... it must have been asleep on guard duty lol.

I was surprised that the sound of his drinking wasn't louder.

Sorry again..I get pulled away so often.    (The washer was trying to walk out the door  :o  )  Haze we got to 32 F today..  heat wave here too

 

 

Hi Tman ..I don't think the Lions upset them near as much as a Leopard will. I know I always hear a big announcement from the Baboons and Vervets when a Leopard is near. Sometimes it is almost like they  ignore the Lions ..especially at night.

  Hi Rattiecat ... I hate it when that happens ! You would think that the least the washer could do before it walked off the job would be to throw the clothes in the dryer !

wildreamer to you fix your leak ??

we had carpenter come in and remove boards thaw out frozen pipe to bathroom toilet then cut a hole under sink so we can turn on fhte bathroom heater when the temp  get -4 or colder to keep it from

freezing again  it only cost $200.00   4 hours wages- insulation and a 50 ft extention cord 

next is the satelite dish for  t.v. it goes out from moisture getting 

in the cone on dish but we have to wait till snow is gone

merry ho ho christmas  -  lol

Hi Haze ..feeling much better, relatively speaking LOL.  The temp is down and now it is just the nasty ole sniffling, coughing, grumpiness, and fatigue from constantly changing clothes if you know what I mean LOL ..my washing machine wants to walk away before I even get it loaded LOL  

Hi Barry ..they were supposed to come back today to weld the pipes ..guess what ? No Show !  They told me that to fix it they would have to remove the Water Softner and it would probably renderer it useless. No Problem, I could live without a watersoftner in that corner anyway ..but while he was showing me why ..it made the leak worse ! So now instead of one corner of garage wet ...almost the entire garage is flooded   :-(   Thinking about shutting off water to the house and spending the Holidays in Hotel LOL
