For years the Mapogos have been infamous for their sheer dominance of the region. Now it appears that their reign is coming to an end. This recent attack resulted in the death of one of the Mapogos known to some as "Kinky Tail". The battle took place near our camera at Nkorho Bush lodge, and the sounds recorded that night are quite astounding. The Black eaglet has hatched and is growing very quickly. This new live streaming camera has produced some remarkble footage of the chick. Keep watching so you don't miss all the exciting moments in this young eagle's life. Here is a video of some of the eaglet's first steps...
